Personal Life:

Grace Rasmussen (born March 18, 1988 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a Netball player for the Auckland Northern Mystics and New Zealand national team, the Silver Ferns.

Rasmussen  is the younger sister to Rachel Rasmussen who currently plays for the Southern Steel netball team.


Professional Career:

Rasmussen is a former member of the New Zealand Accelerant and U-21 netball teams. She made her domestic netball debut in 2005 playing in the National Bank Cup for the Auckland Diamonds.

In 2007, the National Bank Cup was replaced by the ANZ Championship. The Diamonds franchise disbanded that year and merged with the Northern Force to create the new Auckland team, the Northern Mystics. Rasmussen remained playing for the Mystics at the ANZ Championships in 2008, and continues to play either wing attack (WA) or goal attack (GA) positions.

Rasmussen joined New Zealand Silver Ferns in 2009, but made her debut with the Silver Ferns in 2010 against Samoa in Porirua, New Zealand. She was a member of the New Zealand team that competed in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi and the 2010 Liverpool World series where New Zealand won gold in both of the netball competitions.
