Savusa assumed duties as command sergeant major, International Security Assistance Force/North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Afghanistan in July 2008 and later as command sergeant major, United States Forces, Afghanistan in October 2008.

Nina Salazar

First Samoan woman ever to attain the position as a B-52 Bomber Navigator in the World. Also known to be the first student of Samoan ancestry to have been accepted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Loleni W. Gandy

Staff sergeant in the 1993-2010, HHC, 103rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) unit. He served from 1993 – 2010. His combat and non-combat operations include the 2004-2005 Operation Iraqi Freedom and 2010-2011 Operation New Dawn.
