Alama Ieremia

Assistant Coach for the Hurricanes Super Rugby team, a former Manu Samoa and All Blacks Rugby player. He was able to play for both Samoa and New Zealand due to loose international eligibility regulations which were in place before the mid-1990s. Although born in Sinamoga, Ieremia was raised in Fasito’otai, where his father Reverend Lale Ieremia worked as a minister. He is cousin to April Ieremia (former Silver Fern) and Neil Ieremia (Black Grace).

Wally Rank

Former professional NBA Basketball player and CEO of Top Rank Properties. He was the founder of Youth Outreach United (Y.O.U), which sponsored the South Pacific Games in Carson, California for many years.

Roy Asotasi

Former professional Rugby League player and former Captain of the South Sydney Rabbitoh’s in Australia. Asotasi has also represented the New Zealand Kiwi team in 24 Test matches from 2004-2008.

Michael Jones

A former Manu Samoa, New Zealand All Black, Auckland NPC and Auckland Blues rugby player. Jones is also a former Coach of the Manu Samoa rugby team. Jones was voted 3rd best All Black of the 20th century, and former All Blacks coach, John Hart, called Jones “almost the perfect rugby player”.

Mike Fetters

A former Major League Baseball relief pitcher who had a sixteen year career from 1989 to 2004. Although Fetters was born in Van Nuys, California, Fetters grew up in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Fetters is a graduate of Iolani School, where he played baseball in the early 1980s, and was an all-state performer. Fetters is currently a Special Assistant to the General Manager for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
