At the Fringe Festival in 2003, Fepulea’i was invited to be the opening act and MC to the ‘Laughing with Samoans’ show for Eteuati Ete. The show instantly became a huge success, and it was there that the duo created a unique comedic relationship that became the two-man stand up comedy group ‘Laughing Samoans’, selling out shows internationally before the duo disbanded in 2016.

Fepulea’i also starred in Stallone Vaiaoga-Ioasa’s 2019 movie: Take Home Pay.

Although Fepulea’i is a man who brings laughter to many throughout New Zealand and overseas, he is also a man who is passionate about the direction of Pacific Island youth. He is known to work with at-risk youth in the community in hopes of making a difference to their lives in creating a better future for themselves.
